Safari Field Guide Training, Level 1 (6 weeks)
African nature training at its best! Study both theory and practical skills with your FGASA accredited instructor in northern Namibia’s exotic real African wilderness. This course is suited for people wishing to enter a wilderness trails guiding career, or for adventurous travellers seeking a unique educational African wilderness experience. The course ends in an exam, and those who pass receive a Level 1 Field Guide certificate issued by the Field Guides Association of Southern Africa, plus a certificate from Caprivi Bush Experiences. |

Game Ranger Practical Wilderness Skills (2 weeks)
This course is ideally suited to people who love the outdoors and who are nature enthusiasts. You will learn practical game ranger / wilderness skills and have a wonderful African wildlife experience in one of Africa’s last remaining open wilderness areas. The course syllabus includes all-day practical exercises on: survival, animal identification and tracking skills, rifle handling and shooting skills, 4*4 vehicle maintenance and driving skills, dangerous animals and situations, and sleep-out in the remote wilderness. |

Conservation Projects (2 weeks)
Assist with important conservation efforts at the coalface of human-animal conflict problems in one of Africa’s last remaining open wilderness areas, where local people are learning to live with wild animals. Volunteers will be assisting the resident Game Ranger and park management staff with animal identification and tracking, veldt condition monitoring, human-animal conflict, anti-poaching, or other on-going activities. |
